Water pollution is dirty water.Water pollution is when people throw their own rubbish in the ocean. If people constantly chuck the rubbish in the ocean, that is how the water becomes polluted. The drain will be smelly from the litter and will affect sea life. The rubbish that is affecting the ocean has different pipes, some can lead to home, on the streets and even the ocean.

Water covers over 70% of the Earth's surface and is a very important resource for people and the environment. Around half of all ocean pollution is caused by sewage.

Water pollution may not damage our health immediately but can be harmful after long term.Sea animals are dieing from  water pollution.especially turtles.Turtle like eating jellyfish.Turtles die  from eating plastic bags because they think it's a jellyfish.

last week room 7 had science intensive in Mrs stones class.we learn about the three state of matter.there are 3 different state matter and particles .they are gas,solid and liquid. A particles of a liquid shapes the same as the container.the  liquid is a matter move around part not far from other.the  solid is matter that  stays the same shape with a container.gas is a matter that can moves far from each other.

Fitness

today at fitness.We stretch our legs and arms then we ran around the courts 3 times .After  we make two lines of girls vs boys We race all the way to the end of the court and come back.the girls won the 1 round.The 2 round the girls lose and the boys won.We didn't have much time for the 3 round so we went back to class.My favourite part of the fitness was the relay.

P.E ~ Netball

Today, on Monday the 8th of May 2017 My class and I went to have P.E on the court as soon as we got to the Netball courts we had a brief strength and then we had a small talk about the rules. Next we all got in to teams for the first game I was a sub, but soon we swapped over for the next 6 minutes.

Today I learnt a lot of thing like how to pass, defend and heaps more also I learnt a little bit on how to coach a GAME.

Shapes

Today I worked with 2 student from Room 10 and we talked about the sides and points that these few shapes had.

retirement home

In the morning we went to tech we only stayed for 25 minutes because we had to go retirement home where all the old people. The ladies and men were so kind and we were to. The playse was so huge and beautiful.

When we got there the samoan boys took off there t-shirts the first group was the maori boys the maori girls and or the other groups when we finished chrise thanked them for having us.

After that they gave us some chocolate and we eat them on the way when we got on the bus me and my friends were playing a game called sadow fight when we got to school we eat our lunch and we had fun.

Today some of glenbrae students went to the rest home to present some items. There were only 4 groups in the item,

Groups:

Tongan
Samoa
Maori 
Cook Islands

The group that I was in was, Maori group and the Samoan sasa group. When we got there, we quickly got ready to perform in front of the people. First in line was the Maori group. Second was a song from the Maori girls, third was the Tongan girls, 4 was the Tongan boys, then the Samoan sasa and the last was the cook island group performed by Aaliyah and Maara.

Glenbrae kids visit

Just recently, my class and I took a little visit to Glenbrae kids, which is right next to our school. Walking there would be a 5 min walk.

When we arrived, Glenbrae kids were running for the gate. We went inside and sat down well, the little kids were greeting us. Just as we finished our greeting and hellos, our class started sing a song for them.

After we finished we all chose a partner or 2 and went out to play. I had two partners but then I ended having about 7 partners. We went out and played with the bikes and sand. We dictated to go play with paint but it got a little messy. My partners got the paint all over them when I turned my back.

Then we went and played dress up, Cherise, Luisa and I went and started playing dress up. Cherise dressed up as a Samoan witch, it was so funny. Luisa went as a over dressed shopper. I didn't really dress up, I was just throwing clothes on Cherise and luisa so they could look even more PRETTYY!!

When we finished my partner and I went for a little walk. We went to the sand pit, played on the bikes, went down a slide and played on the swing. Then ended up getting tried so we went inside the play with the toys and read a book. One of the teachers played a song and all the little kids went running to dance.

Then I came to the end of our visit, we all went back inside and said our good byes, it was really sad because my most of them were crying because we were going but over all it was a good visit.
